Senior Developer

In 2025, the brand will be undergoing a large re-platforming and migration project, this role would see you play a big part in shaping what the future of the brand looks like. It is paramount that you have passion for coding and new technologies, along with seeking an opportunity that lets you grow your career with a tech and data led company.

They will be re-platforming their eCommerce brand from Shopify Plus to a Composable Commerce platform.

You'll be scoping, building & delivering this across the brand, you'll need to be a strong communicator, not just a great coder.

You're going to have knowledge across Shopify Plus, but also great front end knowlegde, JavaScript, HTML & CSS. You'll need to have great hands on knowledge of React, PHP, NodeJS and their infrastructure is built on AWS.

Core Skills

● Delivering high performing, clean code, that is modular and scalable
● Working with the Development and Ecommerce teams to deliver projects
● Developing customer and admin facing applications
● Integrating with our behavioural data platform to ensure we are collecting compliantfirst party event data across our site
● Working on multiple sites across UK and EU territories
● Pushing the company forward ensuring we live tech first and data led
● Ensure the site code is stable, audited and tested on a regular basis
● Improving web performance and SEO metrics

Key Skills

● React / NodeJS / JavaScript (5 years plus experience)
● Semantics HTML / CSS (5 years plus experience)
● Managing the whole development process & liaising with project managers toensure efficient project delivery is essential
● Experience in headless / MACH architectures
● Experience in consuming content APIs
● Experience with backend languages or server infrastructure is beneficial
● Experience in Shopify Themes, Apps, API and GraphQL is beneficial
● Knowledge of client side behavioural data tracking
● Confident in working with live applications, including configuring, testing, and deployments
● Ability to be creative in coding, with a problem solving approach
● Can work independently and also as part of a wider digital team
