The Role
This is a hands-on and varied role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of their work. You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations while driving performance across multiple online marketplaces and logistics partners.
About the company
eCommerce brand who work predominately in the sports sector, they sell through multiple marketplaces & looking to scale their revenue through D2C.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
eCommerce & Marketplace Management
- Manage and optimise product listings across platforms including Amazon UK/EU, eBay, and a branded website
- Monitor marketplace performance, customer reviews, and health metrics
- Identify and implement strategies to improve visibility, sales, and brand positioning
Operations Oversight
- Oversee third-party warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
- Monitor logistics partners for efficiency and service levels
- Maintain inventory accuracy across all platforms using internal systems
Customer Service Management
- Lead the customer support function, ensuring all queries are handled quickly and effectively
- Monitor feedback and drive initiatives to enhance the customer experience
Marketing & Agency Coordination
- Collaborate with marketing agencies to deliver campaigns and drive online growth
- Track performance and ensure external partners are aligned with business goals
- Contribute creative ideas for promotional activity, branding, and content
Reporting & Business Support
- Work directly with senior leadership on business performance, operations, and strategic projects
- Provide regular performance updates, insights, and recommendations
What We’re Looking For
- Highly proactive, organised, and commercially aware
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage competing priorities and work independently
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and results
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in eCommerce operations or online marketplace management
- Familiarity with platforms like Amazon, eBay, and Shopify
- Strong organisational and project management capabilities
- Experience working with 3PL providers and/or marketing agencies is a bonus
